Safety is always our top priority. While we will make every effort to carry out our scheduled programming, if the Captain determines that a tour or cruise must be delayed or cannot take place due to weather, the Captain’s word is law.
If tickets are sold and the weather forecast takes a turn for the worse, we will email and text all ticket holders as soon as possible when a weather-related delay or cancellation decision has been made. We will do everything we can to alert you as far ahead of time as possible.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone deemed intoxicated.
Weapons of any kind are prohibited aboard the ship and in our Visitor Center.
All ticket purchases are final and nonrefundable unless a tour or cruise is canceled or delayed. All ticket prices include a $1.50 processing fee, so while we can refund the cost of a ticket, we cannot refund the fee for processing either the purchase or the refund.
In the event that we are unable to host a scheduled tour or cruise every effort will be made to reschedule. If that is not possible, a refund will be issued within 72 hours for the original ticket price (minus a $3 processing fee) via the means of purchase (i.e., credit card or Pay Pal). Ticket prices include a $1.50 processing fee, so while we can refund the cost of a ticket, we cannot refund the fee for processing either the purchase or the refund.
For Private Cruises that are canceled due to weather, we will make every effort to rebook the Cruise on another evening. For Private Cruises that are delayed for less than an hour, no refunds will be issued.
For Private Cruises which must be shortened due to weather concerns, if at least one hour of the cruise has taken place before the Captain decides the ship must return to the dock, the cruise will be considered to have taken place and no refunds will be issued. If less than one hour of the cruise has taken place, we will issue a refund within 72 hours for 50% of the original ticket price (minus a $3 processing fee) via the means of purchase (i.e., credit card or Pay Pal).
If a Private Cruise must be shortened due to passenger misbehavior, no refunds will be issued.
Unfortunately, ships in the eighteenth century were not accessible to wheelchairs and ours is not either. While we would love to accommodate guests with limited mobility, our gangway is narrow and access from deck to deck aboard ship is via steep ladders and narrow steps. If visitors are able to walk short distances, we will happily show them as much of the ship as possible.
Please note that the gangway and ladders may also present a challenge to families visiting with small children. Although our staff goes to great effort to ensure the safety of every visitor, parents are asked to be especially vigilant in watching and assisting their children while they are on the ship. While our ladders are no more challenging than most playground equipment, the size of the gaps between the rungs may be difficult for children under 5.
At the current time, we are unable to check in strollers at our Visitor Center or the pier where the ship is moored. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The closest public restrooms are located near the Blackwall Hitch Restaurant in the heart of the Old Town Marina. This is approximately a three-minute walk from our Visitor Center.
